Ucc Bill Presented in Uttarakhand Assembly: Know 10 Important Things Related to the Uniform Civil Code (Ucc)

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami Today presents the Uniform Civil Code in the Uttarakhand Assembly. after the Uniform Civil Code is passed in the Assembly it will become the bill and the bill sent to the governor. Still, Before presenting the bill in the Uttarakhand Assembly, competitor parties are making a ruckus and demanding discussion on the bill. The House proceedings have been adjourned till 2 pm amid uproar by the opposition.

After the bill is passed in the Uttarakhand assembly Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will become a law .and after the start Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, this state become the first state in the country after independence.  According to the sources the draft has more than 400 sections. Earlier on Sunday, this bill had received cabinet approval.

  • In the Uniform Civil Code (UCC)  it has been suggested to make the adoption of a child process easier. The bill also offers to give Muslim women the right to adopt children.

 

  • The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) bill presents to ban Halala and Iddat within Muslim society. There has been a lot of opposition to this practice.

 

  • If the wife remarries after the death of her husband, the parents will also be allowed to balance, this has also been presented in the Uniform Civil Code (UCC)  bill. In case of the death of the wife, the responsibility of her parents will be on the husband. In case of an argument between husband and wife, a proposal to give the control of children to grandparents has also been made in the UCC Bill.
