Samsung has launched the W27 in China, its yearly luxury foldable made with China Telecom. It’s essentially a Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra in a much fancier outfit, with satellite connectivity added on top. Here’s what you get and what it costs.

The phone is sold through Samsung’s online store in China, and shipping begins on November 13, 2026. Like every W-series phone before it, the W27 is a China-only model. Don’t expect an India launch; the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the version Indian buyers can actually get.
Design: the real reason it exists
The W27 looks nothing like a regular Galaxy foldable. It uses a two-tone red and blue finish with gold accents on the frame, the hinge, the camera island and the lens rings. A gold “Heart to the World” logo sits on the back, and the edges have a dotted texture. Both sides are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3.
The collector’s box also includes a 45W charger and a Kevlar case.
