The design: built for people who live in a terminal
The body has a matte finish with laser-etched developer references all over it:

Haptic feedback
The MX Master 4 has a haptic panel under your thumb. It gives a small tap when you switch desktops, change a slider, or use the Actions Ring. You can change the strength in Logi Options+.
Actions Ring
Press the Actions Ring button and a ring of shortcuts appears at your cursor. You can fill it with macros, app shortcuts or your favourite AI coding assistant. Logitech claims it can save up to 33% of time on supported workflows and cut repetitive movements by up to 63%. It also has plugins for apps like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Zoom.
Scrolling and tracking
The MagSpeed wheel scrolls up to 1,000 lines per second, which is great for long files and logs. There’s a separate thumb wheel for sideways scrolling. The Darkfield sensor works on glass and goes from 200 to 8,000 DPI.
